Meet Gilbert Ego
My name is Gilbert Ego. I am passionate about international development work geared towards solving human challenges in Africa. I enjoy travelling, socialising and learning new things.
As a young boy in Kabarnet, Baringo, I had a dream to become a member of parliament. “As a member of parliament you can be part of the solution to some of the many societal challenges such as conflict, disease, drought, famine, poor access to infrastructure and access to education”. Little Gilbert thought.
As I grew up, I found out there are other ways to make a difference. For me, that way is Lakisama Foundation.
Lakisama provides me with an opportunity to engage and to be part of the solution by being a mentor to the next group of brilliant Generation-Z youth. I am confident that they will grow to become the leaders of tomorrow, and who knows, maybe even members of parliament.
You only live once, make an impact with us at Lakisama Foundation!
